Our Core Values
Kardia Robotics embraces the following Core Values and seeks to emulate them in our daily lives:
Faith in God: We are committed to honoring God by modeling Christian values in all club activities; including our intellectual and vocational work, our learning experiences, our teaching opportunities, and our interactions with other teams, mentors, referees, and judges.
Integrity of Character: When participating in our club activities, we are devoted to the highest ethical standards; demonstrating honesty, fairness, and respect in all we do. As Christian homeschool students, we understand that our responsibilities are different from other students and therefore recognize that our actions and attitudes must positively represent ourselves, our teammates, Kardia Learning Center, and most importantly, Jesus Christ.
Teamwork: We embrace the importance of collaboration and recognize, encourage, and nurture the importance of sharing, cooperation, teamwork, and respect. We strive towards working together for common goals and outcomes while still respecting each individual. While we value and expect individual effort, ideas, and contributions, we also understand that everyone is a valuable part of our team; “so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.”
Zeal for Learning: We recognize that our Club is designed to offer new, unique, and applicable learning experiences. Therefore, while we strive to be successful in all competitions that we attend, we understand the purpose of our club is to develop a better understanding of engineering, programing, and marketing principles, as well as to expand our critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creative skills. Furthermore, we firmly believe that our club should be fun and offer an enjoyable, engaging, and enriching academic and social opportunities for all club members.
