In an effort to share the positive influence that the FIRST Tech Challenge and Kardia Robotics has had on the education of our team members, we had the opportunity to meet with State Representative Mark Gillen. This experience proved to be an excellent conversation that allowed our team to express how we have grown to be more effective critical thinkers, collaborative team members, creative innovators, and communicators. The technical and leadership skills that we have learned were also discussed. Rep. Gillen was proud that our Berks/Lancaster County homeschool group has been competitively successful and has continued to show Christian professionalism during our FTC events. He was very generous with his time and offered valuable insight and advice on how to further our community influence.  Happy New Year from Kardia Robotics! Hope to see everyone at York and Lehigh Valley.
